By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

4. Bookings and Payments

  • While we do not operate a standard ecommerce store, we may take payments for workshops, events, or memberships via third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or booking platforms).

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

As a Community Interest Company, our resources are often committed in advance to tutors and materials. Our policy is as follows:

5.1 Workshops and One-Off Events

  • Cancellations by You: * To receive a full refund, you must notify us at least 7 days before the event start date.

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, as materials will have been purchased and tutors booked.

    • You may transfer your ticket to another person at no extra cost, provided you inform us in writing before the event.

  • Cancellations by Us: * If we have to cancel a workshop (e.g., due to tutor illness or low numbers), we will offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.

5.2 Memberships (if applicable)

  • Memberships are typically billed on a [monthly/annual] basis.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time by giving 30 days notice.

  • Refunds are not provided for partial months of membership already used.

5.3 Studio or Space Hire

  • Specific cancellation terms for space hire will be outlined in your individual hire agreement but generally require 7 days notice for a refund.

6. Community Conduct

We are a creative and inclusive community. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask individuals to leave our physical premises or digital platforms if they:

  • Engage in harassment or discriminatory behaviour.

  • Intentionally damage equipment or the property of others.

  • Fail to follow health and safety guidance provided by our staff.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We make every effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate, but we do not guarantee its completeness.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, The UP Creative Hub CIC shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of your use of our website or attendance at our events.

  • Our total liability to you in respect of any service purchased shall not exceed the price paid for that service.
